Last time I landed here in Lincoln was in 2006 as a student pilot with a CFI on my cross country training.
This time, I landed to take care of some business at the airport.
The pattern was busy during this visit with some traffic doing touch-and-goes; there were even parachute jumps.
I have to circle around nearby until the parachute jumpers landed
and able to get in line in the pattern.
Upon landing, there were signs directing to the transient parking area. It had chain tie-downs in so-so condition.
Activities at the airport grounds were also busy. The flight school and repair shop were busy with activities.
And the self-service fuel station constantly had an aircraft refueling. I did not notice an FBO and
I was not able to check out the facilities at the airport office.
The airport is somewhat far from the town; not even a place eat within walking distance. So,
after taking care of my business at the airport, I flew back to Napa. Did a circling climb
over Lincoln airport to 4,500 ft. before proceeding to fly over the Sacramento International airspace.
