I flew in to Oroville years ago when I was a student pilot as part of my cross country requirement.
But I didn't get the chance to explore the airport. So, as the winter weather took a break
and provided a CAVU flying condition,
I took the opportuniy to revisit this airport.
The mission for today's flight was to check out the restaurant at the golf club next to the airport
I kept hearing about from other pilots. During this flight, the wind favored landing at Rwy. 13.
On my approached, I heard some aircrafts taking off in Oroville, but when I landing, it seemed like I have the
whole airport to myself.
This airport is expansive and didn't have good signs; thus, it took me a while to re-orient myself
to get to the restaurant after landing. The restaurant taxiway is the first left at Rwy. 02, and there's no sign.
The runways, taxiways, and ramp surface are in good condition. The parking area next to the golf course
have limited tie-downs. The golf course is called Table Mountaing Golf, and the restaurant is inside
the club building over looking the driving range. The food are mostly burgers, salads and sandwiches ---
nothing fancy and one have to order from the counter. They do also have a bar. Restrooms are inside the
restaurant and were clean.

NorCal App -- 125.4 (No. of Sacramento).
