We had another successful medical clinic that Susan and Alex participated at San Felipe, Mexico
as part of the Flying Samaritans organization(-click here for more info on
Flying Samaritans). And this time, they were joined by Danny and Trini Miniano.
As in previous medical clinics here, this was a joint effort with the local
Lions Club and the Mission San Felipe Church. There were two clinics held ---
an Optometry Clinic that saw 205 patients, and a Pediatrics and Family Clinic that saw 48 patients.
Alex, Susan and Danny were helping at the optometry clinic, while Trini, a registered nurse,
was at the pediatrics/family clinic.
We thanked God for this wonderful opportunity to serve and the safety and protection
through out this trip. Below are some of the picture highlights of the trip:

Locals were already lining up early as volunteers arrived.

This is Danny's first volunteer at this clinic, and at times, needed an interpreter (the one with vest).

After being examined by our volunteer optometrist, patients were given prescription glasses.
Time to depart for the return flight to US. We thanked God for this wonderful experience to serve, meet new friends, and the safety and protection through out this trip. |
